Laura Hamilton, 38, has said sorry after she continually referred to a colleague by only her last name in a social media clip. The A Place In The Sun presenter hosts the Instagram Live series Birds With Baggage with her good friend and Britain’s Got Talent star La Voix, who called her out.

Am I not allowed to?

The Channel 4 star was corrected by her co-star, after she kept calling her just “Voix”.

La Voix asked: “Why do you call me Voix?”

Laura, appearing slightly flustered, responded: “Am I not allowed to call you Voix?”

La Voix explained why it did not make sense for Laura to call her by one name only.

She replied: “Well you call me Voix, it’s like me calling you Hamilton.”

Laura could not hide her laughter over the incident, as she joked: “Sorry, shall I call you La then?”

Both Laura and La Voix appeared in high spirits, as they wowed in yellow frocks paired with red lipstick while hosting their popular online show.

The pair have been friends for over 15 years after bonding over their shared love of theatre and music.

Underneath fans shared their delight at the series aimed at boosting spirits during lockdown.

One said: “Loved it.”

Another typed: “Cheered me right up.”

While a third commented: “Fantastic show you two.”

A fourth typed: “Can’t wait for the next show!”

It comes after Laura was stunned to see an old photo of her wearing a very revealing corset, published in a UK newspaper recently.

The property presenter claimed to have no idea that the picture, taken from a shoot with lingerie photographer Anna Fowler, would be recirculated.

She addressed the photo while playing a game of “Behind The Baggage” with La Voix.

The TV star was asked what was really going on behind her glamorous online photos, including the sexy aforementioned snap.

Laura responded: “What I will say is I had no idea that that picture was going to be in The Sun yesterday.

“I didn’t know. I mean I’m very grateful that things end up in the press because…,” she trailed off.

Laura admitted that not everything her followers see is an accurate representation of what she is going through at the time.

She continued: “Well you know, don’t always believe what you read, don’t always believe what you see on social media.”
