Claudia Schiffer celebrates birthday in Greece

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer belied her age in a skimpy bikini as she shared some stunning snaps with her 1.9 million Instagram followers.

The stunning mum of three who turned 53 on August 25, has been in Greece celebrating her birthday.

Taking to Instagram she looked happy and relaxed in a colourful bikini with a blue patterned top and red bottoms.

Looking as svelte as she did in her nineties heyday, she wore her long blonde hair loose and accessorised with retro style sunglasses with white frames and subtle jewellery.

She also posted a short video clip which showed a butterfly landing on her hand much to her delight and she captioned the post: “Celebrating in Greek paradise, featuring a special friend who came to wish me happy birthday.”

Fans loved the post and took to the comments to wish her a happy birthday and to compliment the stunner on her age defying beauty.

@germandreamgirls wrote: “You look great. You must be almost 40, but you look much younger.”

@susien chimed in: “Happy Birthday, Claudia! You look absolutely stunning!” followed by a heart emoji.

A user with the handle @anelia30 commented: “Happy birthday to one of the most beautiful and cute people in the world!”

Meanwhile 5046.scott69 remarked on how ageless she looked writing: “SuperHappyBirthdayMsschiffer hasn’t aged a day in twenty years.” (sic)

The catwalk legend, who is married to British filmmaker Matthew Vaughan, is regarded as one of the original supermodels alongside Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Tatjana Patitz and Christy Turlington.

She has previously spoken about how her lingerie was constantly going missing at the height of her fame.

She explained that it became necessary for security to be employed to guard her lingerie.

“When I was out on the runway I’d come back and constantly my underwear would be gone. My bra, my knickers… gone!” she told Elle UK magazine.

“People would cut holes in the fashion tents and try to take pictures of us. We had security at every fashion show.”
