The David Platt actor – who has portrayed the character since he was 12 years old – was seen wearing a vibrant red and white patterned shirt, which he teamed with black jeans, and a pair of Vans trainers to match.

Jack was seen looking down at his phone wearing black sunglasses, listening to music with a pair of headphones in.

The dad-of-two revealed he was living with the eating disorder when replying to a tweet from a troll who told him he looked like he needed to eat.

Now deleted, the tweet read: "Wise up…. he looks like someone who could do with a good feed," before adding Jack looked "far too thin" and that he "doesn't look great."

Jack simply replied to the nasty social media user: "I have an eating disorder. Thank you for being nice."

Fans quickly showered the soap star with support, with one writing: "Well done for speaking out. By sharing this I'm sure you will be helping so many people."

After undergoing a hair transplant, Jack told his 376,000 Instagram followers: "I decided to get it done as it was affecting my mental health. To the point where I considered giving up acting and not being the public eye."

He told OK! magazine in an exclusive interview alongside his girlfriend Hanni Treweek in October 2020 how the transplant had effected him mentally.

He said: "I feel more confident. There's nothing worse than when you're outside in the wind or on a rollercoaster and you get off and your hair's all the over the shop. I don't have that trouble any more."
