Helen Flanagan had secret boob job to feel more confident

Helen Flanagan has revealed that she recently underwent breast surgery after becoming unhappy with the way they looked.

The ex-Coronation Street actress, 32, took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to share the news, explaining how she had chosen to undergo the breast enhancement procedure to help her confidence, as she had been feeling unconfident with her body after welcoming three children.

Helen went make-up free and put on a casual display in a bright green Sisters and Seekers hoodie paired with jogging bottoms as she chatted to the camera and opened up about her surgery.

"Hi, so I wanted to pop on here. I'm actually really nervous about sharing this actually but I've had a boob job," she nervously stated.

She continued: "I had it done on Thursday. Yeah, so I'm in recovery at the moment. I have been really nervous about sharing this, because you always get some, like, not very nice comments or what have you.

"It's just something that I did for myself, I really wanted to do it for my confidence. I have been really nervous about sharing this. Obviously I very much am for body confidence, and very much for supporting other women, but supporting women in all choices that they decided to do.

"I think if something really is bothering you, then I think, you know, it's a good thing to do something about it."

The mum-of-three went to reveal how she had gone from wearing an E-cup to a B-cup after welcoming three children – Matilda, six, Delilah, three, and one year old son Charlie – with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, 33.

Helen admitted she "never thought" she would have a boob job due to her previously "busty" figure, but her confidence had been knocked by the change in her breasts.

Helen told fans: "There's no nicer way to say it but they just became rally saggy. It just affected my confidence."

The actress explained how had "loved" breastfeeding her three children, but "really noticed" a significant change in her body after giving birth to her second daughter Delilah in 2018.

However, having decided she wanted a third child, Helen postponed the surgery until after son Charlie was born.

Detailing the recovery process, she told fans: "I'm on day two of recovery, I've literally… my friend just helped me wash my hair and dry it because you can't shower properly, you have to keep the wounds dry, I have this kind of like, support bra on, and you can't get it wet."

Helen also revealed her three children were staying at footballer Scott's home, and shared her heartbreak over not being able to "cuddle them for a while" due to the long recovery process.
