Vernon Kay has reportedly landed his first major TV hosting gig after competing on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year.
The 46 year old, who enjoyed a romantic date with his wife Tess Daly following his return from Wales, is said to be lined up to host Game Of Talents, which will see celebrities and members of the public team up to guess the hidden talent of mystery performers.
It has been said that cash prizes will be offered to successful players.
"Vernon may not have won I’m A Celeb but from day one he was the star of the show – likeable, warm and really down to earth," a source told The Sun Online.

ITV's flagship weekend show has been axed for the year after ITV bosses realised they couldn't make it work as the global coronavirus pandemic rages.
Execs wanted the ratings winner back in 2021 but have now admitted defeat.
In a statement, the producers said: “Despite everyone at ITV, Thames and Syco doing their best to make it happen, and with our absolute priority of safeguarding the well-being and health of every person involved in the programme.

"From judges, hosts and contestants to all of the crew and audience, the decision has been made to – unfortunately – move the record and broadcast of the 15th series of Britain's Got Talent to 2022."
They had hoped that auditions could go ahead in the summer ready for an autumn screen return.
But bosses say it proved impossible to plan ahead and guarantee safety for everyone involved.

The statement continued: “BGT is known for its diversity of talent with big dance groups, wonderful choirs and lavish orchestras at its heart.
"It has become clear that not only is it not possible to film auditions with these types of acts in a secure way but also that they are not able to adequately rehearse and prepare safely.
"Safety has to come first and, as a result, the recording of the show can’t currently go ahead as planned.”
