Im A Celebs Frankie Bridge says she was given luxury item after begging ITV shows producers

Frankie Bridge has revealed she managed to get one luxury item into the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp, after "begging" producers.

Former The Saturdays singer Frankie, 32, opened up on her time in Gwrych Castle in north Wales after coming in third place in the gruelling ITV challenge show.

While in the castle, some viewers thought Frankie managed to sneak makeup into camp, despite it being forbidden.

After leaving the show, Frankie has insisted she didn't have any makeup while in the castle but did manage to get one luxury item past producers after begging them for it.

Speaking to Mail Online, Frankie revealed: "People have said I looked like I had makeup on, but I didn't.

"They are so strict we only managed to get lip balm because everyone's lips were so sore, but we had to beg and say 'please, please, can we have some lip balm'."

She explained that fans also wondered if she had managed to style her hair on the show.

Frankie, who recently shared her sons Carter and Parker's sweet request while she was in the castle, revealed: "There has been a big thing about my hair, and I just think it's really funny because I hated my hair in there.

"I have such flat, straight hair and it seemed to just flick out, but everyone was obsessed with thinking I was doing something to it. I genuinely wasn't.

"I got to wash my hair and I had to just leave it to dry and that's how it dries. We weren't allowed a hairbrush. They are so strict in there they check your pockets."

While in the castle, Frankie did manage to get a beauty regime as she got creative with her limited resources.

Mum-of-two Frankie spilled: "But my eyebrows… I would put soap on my toothbrush and brush my eyebrows – that was my trick! Before the castle I had my eyebrows laminated and tattooed.

"I don't wear makeup on my days off but I always do my eyebrows, so it was my biggest thing when I went in there.

"My skin, I had some really bad skin days, I had three massive spots that came up while I was in there. But you're not eating sugar, caffeine, every year I look at the contestants and think their skin looks amazing."

Reflecting on her time in the castle, Frankie revealed the experience was anything but glamorous and was even forced to wear dirty underwear.

"It was really early on, and I didn't have the chance to have a wash…" she said. "So I just turned them inside out. I did have all my layers and then I thought 'oh my God Frank, you've still got yesterday's knickers on, you need to sort yourself out.'

"We were only allowed four pairs of underwear in there for three weeks, so you were washing them but where it's so cold they don't really dry that fast. I had to really stay on top of it to make sure I had clean knickers."
