Viewers were left in tears when Kate Garraway's heartbreaking documentary on husband Derek Draper aired on Tuesday night.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 53, captured Derek's battle with Covid-19 in the raw documentary, Finding Derek, after he was hospitalised in March 2020.
And now a source has told Ok! online that Kate has been overwhelmed by the public’s response – and has even received support from the likes of David Beckham and Health Secretary Matt Hancock.

“Kate has had an overwhelming response from the documentary,” a source told us.
“Lots of people from all walks of life are supporting her and have been in touch – she's heard from both David Beckham and Matt Hancock. Everyone has been so supportive.
“It's so heartbreaking. Everyone is saying how wonderful, caring and strong Kate is. Everyone wants the best for Kate and Derek and want to help as much as they can.”

Our source added: “Kate did the documentary because she wanted to give back to other people, which goes to show how wonderful she is."
Derek, 53, was put into an induced coma to help his recovery and woke up for the first time in October last year to tell doctors he was in pain.
The deadly bug "attacked everything", leaving him with kidney failure, damage to his liver and pancreas, as well as heart failure after beating the virus.

During the hour-long segment, Kate revealed Derek's hospital stay could be extended until December 2021.
She also explained that she's "never loved Derek more or feared losing him more," but confessed she thinks they'll have to get to know each other again after all this time.
"He is still Derek. He is still him and he's still that person that you love. But he will behave differently and he will by physically different. So, will I be ok?
“I won't be delighted because I wouldn't wish that on him.
"I think it will be very tough on us both but he is, for better for worse… you know, I'm trying to look at it as a rather beautiful thing.
"I feel as though we might have to fall in love again."
