Kevin Clifton, 38, has happily been coupled up with Stacey Dooley, 34, for the past two years, after the pair embarked on a romance months after they won Strictly Come Dancing in 2018. The pair recently took their relationship to the next step by moving in together.

Taking to Twitter, Kevin inundated his account with supportive messages of his girlfriend’s property programme.

In view of his 250,000 followers, the professional dancer shared a series of messages from viewers who applauded Stacey’s latest efforts.

Kevin had initially tweeted: “Can’t wait for this tonight,” in reference to the primetime offering.

He then followed up by retweeting a series of messages from viewers who praised the TV star.

BBC Radio host Nihal Arthanayake, penned: “This Is Our House was so good.”

Kevin replied: “Yeah, man.”

A viewer quipped: “Stacey is great on this.”

To which the former Strictly professional gushed: “She’s the best,” followed by a blushing face emoji.

A sixth penned: “#thisismyhouse is so insane but I’m loving it. Everyone needs a bit bonkers, light-hearted viewing atm! And Stacey Dooley is just a treat.”(sic)

This Is My House saw four contestants try to convince the celebrity judges that it was their home in order to win £1,000.

Kevin’s support comes after Stacey revealed she had quit the micro-blogging site due to mean comments.

The small-screen star compared reading nasty messages from trolls to being in an “abusive relationship”.

The TV presenter said that the world of social media became too much for her and the mean comments consumed her.

Stacey told You magazine that she feels much better after deleting her account last month and moving on with her life.

Opening up about what she faced online, Stacey said: “I feel so much better for it.

“I said to Kev, there were some days where I’d get up and the first thing I’d do is look at my phone and read something not very pleasant about myself.

“And then when I went to bed, the last thing I’d do is look at my phone and read another negative comment.

“And I think, if that was a person saying it in my bed, I’d be in an abusive relationship and I wouldn’t put up with it.”
