Love Islands Malin Andersson poses for topless body positive post as she hits back at trolls
Former Love Island star Malin Andersson has sensationally hit back at trolls as she shared a topless body positive photo on social media, after weeks of being vilified for sharing lingerie snaps online.
The 30 year old has faced a backlash from cruel trolls in recent weeks, as they criticised the star for ”always being in her underwear."
However rather than let that deter her, Malin proudly shared a photo on Friday in which she posed in nothing but a pair of knickers, as her hands covered her chest in a make-up free photo.
Sporting damp hair and a bare face for the image, Malin went on to explain that she was proud of her natural body and just wanted to celebrate the fact she “loves” the way she currently looks.
The former Islander, who is a doting mum to 13 month old Xaya, told her followers: "I sometimes get trolls saying I'm always in my underwear.
“Here I am. Minus a bra. In all ma glory. Loving myself. Doing what I want. Because I can. Being a mother, but also Malin.”
She then continued: “Being single cos I know I deserve more. Letting my skin glow cos I don't need to constantly wear makeup.”
Before finally concluding: “Don't you just love doing what ya want?”
The reality star has previously been open about her relationship with her body and even revealed the details of her recent weight loss journey as she came to terms with loving herself – flaws and all.
In one recent Instagram post, Malin proudly showcased her stretch marks as she described them as “wonderful” to her 712,000 followers.
Celebrating her body in a heartfelt poem, Malin wrote: “The skin I'm in… it's mine. It's been through a lot, the stretch-marks; a wonderful marker of time.
“I may be smaller, abs a bit tighter… but all the exercise I do – my mind feels lighter.
“The skin I'm in.. it still has personality, different lines… dimples, wrinkles – that's the reality.
“I'm not here to impress, I'm here for me.. but I hope I can encourage someone to feel that bit more free.”
Although her journey was solely for herself and the consequence of opting for a “healthier lifestyle,” many fans were quick to criticise Malin for opting to lose weight, something she later publicly addressed in an emotional and candid post online.
'Let me note losing weight came with me opting for healthier lifestyle choices over a year long,” began Malin.
“Now I've always been an advocate for body positivity and that means embracing every part of you. Whatever size.
“But what I don't like seeing is people judging me for embarking on my fitness and health.. and saying I've lost weight and they don't like it.”
