Prince Harry and Prince William are reportedly set to give separate speeches at the unveiling of the statue of their mother Princess Diana later this year.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, is expected to return to the UK in July when the memorial statue is unveiled, after the brothers commissioned it two years ago.
Following claims from a friend that the brothers have been in a rift for a year and a half, it’s now been reported Harry and William will not make a joint address at the sculpture’s reveal on what would have been Diana’s 60th birthday.
It was also previously reported that Harry’s appearance at the event was in “serious doubt”, but an insider has now said both brothers will do everything they can to be there as they opened up on the sibling’s relationship.
An insider told The Sun Online: “They will both move heaven and earth to be there. They commissioned the statue together. It is very important for them.
“There is, of course, hope the memory of Diana can repair their relationship but that seems a long way off right now.
“The brothers will be physically together for the ceremony but want to make their own personal addresses.
“You might have thought they’d go for a joint statement and speech but that’s not the case. Each has insisted on preparing their own.
“It is a big concern that their body language will suggest all is not well and they won’t present a united front.”
Harry’s wife Meghan is also expected to stay in the US while the Queen will also not be appearing at the event.
Another source said: “She feels this is William and Harry’s event and would not want to overshadow them.”
The Princess Diana statue will be held inside Kensington Palace’s Sunken Gardens, following the Princess’ tragic death in 1997.

OK! online has contacted representatives for Prince Harry and Prince William for comment.
It comes after the brothers reunited at Prince Philip’s funeral in April, where they were seen talking as they left St George’s Chapel in Windsor after the ceremony.
A body language expert Derek Heron told OK! how the reunion showed the brother’s unbreakable bond.
He said: “It's fantastic to see Harry walking between Kate and William.
“That's a huge acceptance. They are still close. There is still a massive brotherly bond there.
“Kate stepping aside allowing them to walk together has lots of good signs,” Derek continued.
The body language expert went on to claim that the siblings seemed to be relaxed as they enjoyed one another’s company.
“Kate stepping aside allowing them to walk together has lots of good signs.
“It was very natural the way it happened. Will, Harry and Kate seemed very relaxed as they walked together.”
