Fashion fans scramble to nab Dr. Martens summer sandal dupes that are more than £70 cheaper than the designer originals | The Sun

FASHIONISTAS are going wild after spotting a dupe for the must-have Dr. Martens summer sandals that are over £70 cheaper than the posh version.

Either paired with denim shorts or a maxi skirt, the chunky sole Dr. Martens sandals are a staple for any trendy wardrobe.

But coming in at a almost £100, the stylish footwear is not an affordable option for millions of cash-strapped Britons.

Luckily, if you're looking to up your summer style without forking out a fortune, keep on reading – fashionistas have found a cheap dupe.

The delightful news was shared by Rosemarie Louise Mce, who took to Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group to inform others.

''For anyone wanting a pair of the dr Martin Blaire sandals but don't wanna pay the price, I've just found these on Boohoo,'' the blonde stunner said in her post.

''Obviously they won't be the same quality but they look the part.''

Although both of the pairs appeared almost identical minus the posh logo and the iconic yellow stitching, there was a vast difference in price.

Unlike Dr. Martens which typically without a sale retail for £99, Boohoo's version is £28 (now down to £21).

According to the retailer's site, the shoe is available in a range of sizes, from UK 3 to UK 8.

You can also nab a pair of the trendy footwear in nude and black, a timeless classic.

But whilst some raved about the bargain steal, a number of style fans warned others about the poor quality.

''I have few pairs of dr marten Blaires and they are worth paying for [sic].''

Someone else agreed, adding: ''I’ve got the Dr Marten ones and they are soooooo comfy.

''Like walking on air. Can’t wait to get them out again when the weather warms up.''

''Your just paying for the name and dms are very uncomfortable would prefer the boohoo ones if I’m honest,'' a third reckoned.

''I have these and I'd recommend a size up as they rip your feet apart,'' a style fanatic penned.

Whilst shopping on Boohoo, why don't you also bag their £18 SKIMS dupe that's gone viral?

Tellin (@tellbellx7) raved about the Sexy In My Skin collection on TikTok, explaining that they've got loads of doubles.

The bargain range has all the slinky looks you could ever want and it won't break the bank either.

Tellin explained: "Boohoo have a Skims-like collection with all the dresses, all the jumpsuits – you name it they, they've got."

The savvy shopper first tried on chic brown unitard and anyone would be fooled into thinking it was actually from Skims.

She grabbed the unitard in a size eight for the perfect fit.

"It's got loads of give and it's a really nice slinky material so it snatches you in and everything," she explained."

Next, she tried on a dress from the range in a beige colour.

And although the stylish shopper admitted the nude tone isn't usually her favourite shade to wear it looked amazing when she tried it on.

The midi dress looked incredible on Tellin, although she noted that the material felt slightly thinner than the other items.

The black jumpsuit was a real winner though and fit the fashionista like a glove, but the best part is that it only cost £20, that's £100 cheaper than a similar Skims style.

"You literally can't go wrong, you can see it for yourself, this is beautiful," she raved.

But the star of the show was undoubtedly the brown floor-length dress – a perfect dupe for the viral Skims dress.

Tellin wasn't sure how it would look on her, since she's on the shorter side, but to her surprise it was perfect.

She said: "Out of every single thing I've shown you, you need this."
