A SAVVY shopper has revealed that there’s a secret way to nab the best food bargains and it’s all about where you shop.

While many of us will get our food shopping from a supermarket – with many loving Tesco, Asda, Aldi or Lidl – one bargain hunter has revealed the online website where you can nab epic cheap buys. 


Becca Dempsey proudly took to Facebook to share her tip, leaving many stunned. 

In the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, which has 2.2million members, Becca shared a picture of her cheap finds – an epic haul of tasty snacks. 

Becca said: “Low Price Foods: 10 days and an almost 25kg box later, pretty impressive over Easter holidays.

“Couldn’t photograph it all but a very happy boyfriend and even happier cat, plus most of this isn’t even past the dates yet!

“Fantastic prices considering the brands, definitely recommend!

“Figured I’d share so people know what to expect.

Becca shared a variety of pictures of her mega haul, which she nabbed from Low Price Foods, which cost her a total of £48.15.

Low Price Foods offer a huge variety of groceries, snacks, sweets, drinks, pet food and even health and beauty items.

The website offers amazing prices, because they specialise in clearance food which is close to or slightly past its Best Before Date. 

Becca was lucky enough to get her hands on 12 Bounty chocolate bars for just £3.95, four KitKat milk chocolate sharing bags for £1.95 and two Weetabix Oatibix Flakes cereal boxes for £2.95. 

She also nabbed six bags of Dorito crisps for £2.95, six bottles of Tango Dark Berry for £2.95, four share bags of Walkers Bugles crisps for £2.75 and four Aero share bags for £2.50.

That wasn’t all, as Becca also got 90 Elizabeth Shaw milk chocolate cinnamon stars for £5, two boxes of After Eight mints for £2.45, 1kg of Costa ruby hot chocolate powder for £1.95 and three bags of Cadbury caramilk chocolate buttons for £1.05.

As well as this, she nabbed eight boxes of Kellogg's Special K cereal for £1.95 and even bought cat food too – bagging four salmon boxes for £5.95 and chicken pouches for £2.95. 

If that wasn’t enough, she also got skincare too – as she was able to bag four Simple Daily Skin SOS Clearing Boosters for just £5.95.

Her haul has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 48 likes and 8 comments.
