I tried ‘BBL underwear’ and they really work – people think it’s better-proportioned than an actual butt lift | The Sun

WHEN something sounds too good to be true, it usually is – but one woman swears by an alternative to Brazilian butt lifts.

It's affordable and noninvasive, and she was willing to model it and prove it works.

In a video for the Texas-based shapewear brand Elegant Figure (@elegantfigure.com), store associate Paola demonstrated the technology.

She held up what looked like a normal pair of shaping shorts at the beginning of the video.

"Hi, today I'm trying the Instant BBL panty," she said, smiling in a cropped shirt and light purple pants.

Turning, she let viewers see how the lilac trousers looked from behind ahead of the shorts working their magic.

"Here's what it looks like before," Paola said, glancing back at her rear view in the mirror.

Then, she began shaping into the Instant BBL Panty, $89.99.

Real Brazilian butt lifts cost thousands of dollars, with most reputable practitioners starting at $3,500.

But the shaping shorts, which come in three colors, have a padded seat and "extreme butt lift."

Plus, a row of hook closures at the waist provides additional stomach control.

As Paola gently tugged the shorts on, she gave her viewers a reminder.

"Remember to always roll the legs up so they don't get stuck on your skin," she said.

She gestured at the lacy hem of the shorts, which she'd folded up before stepping in.

Finally, the shorts were on her body and secured around her stomach.

"This is the after," she said, twirling around to model. "It lifts up my butt a lot!"

Along with adding volume to her backside, the shorts also lifted and shaped Paola's actual body.

"Let's try it on with my pants," Paola said, slipping back into the fitted purple trousers.

Once they were on, the effect was even more pronounced. The shorts looked smooth under the fabric.

"I'm kind of feeling myself," she admitted. "It gave me a butt!"

Her viewers were impressed by the transformation, calling it "crazy."

"That's padding?" asked one fan, who couldn't believe how natural the non-surgical transformation looked.
