I'm plus-size & I did a mega haul of Halloween costumes…I'm left with mixed reviews, one outfit barely covered my boobs | The Sun
A PLUS-SIZE woman ordered a mega haul of Halloween costumes, but was left with seriously mixed reviews.
Fashion fan Danielle bought a variety of different costumes from Amazon – from a cute Snow White outfit to a hilarious Santa suit.
Not only this, but she also modelled a Cleopatra outfit, as well as a ninja costume.
Posting on social media, Danielle shared her thoughts on her Halloween haul.
The brunette beauty held her large box of goodies, as she said: “Guys, I did a bad thing, and I know that it's a bad thing, so I'm hoping that makes it better. But I got a bunch of Halloween costumes off Amazon for the plus-size ladies, just so I can give you guys some options.
“Some of them are good, some of them are a little bit out there. But we're gonna try them on together. I'm gonna start with something easy and then work my way up.

“First we have Snow White. I can't tell you the last time I wore a real Halloween costume.
“All of them are in a size 3X. Alright, I'm nervous.”
Danielle then modelled her first outfit – a Snow White costume, as she explained: “Never in my life have I dressed up as a princess. Ever. And I have to say, this is actually really, really cute. I love the little bow.
“I wanna get something that the teachers could wear to school. It's a little bit tight in my chest, but this is definitely school appropriate.

“I wasn't expecting to like any of these, but this is really cute. It is very itchy, so maybe [wear] a long sleeve underneath.”
Following this, Danielle tried on her next Halloween look – a Cleopatra costume, as she added: “Okay, but why is this low key a slay? Not low key, high key.
“This is Cleopatra, if you cannot tell. We've got underboob here, I'm fine with that.
“However, I understand that Cleopatra is not the ideal Halloween costume in the creativity department.
“I'm 6 feet tall, it's long enough. It's got these beautiful slits. It comes with this cat suit underneath.
“We have to be careful here [chest]. I'd probably tape myself up.
“It's not excellent quality or anything. I think this is really cute.”
However, Danielle wasn’t as thrilled when she tried on the next look, as she explained: “There is not one time on planet earth that I would ever wear this.
I'm not gonna show you the complete bottom. That's for me and God to see.
“I hate it on myself. On you, babe, You do it, but not me.”
Next up, Danielle modelled a leopard print jumpsuit, as she said: “This is kind of iconic. Again, not my style. I can't imagine myself. I can't even believe I’m posting this on the internet.
“I don't hate it. It's very stretchy. I'm very comfy. I might be asking for my own hate comments with this one, because there's a lot you can say. I understand that.
“I actually really like it. I wasn't expecting that, but, happy Halloween.”
Following this, Danielle tried on another Halloween look, this time a black and red dragon number, as she explained: “I'm not gonna lie to y'all. I actually like this one.
“It comes with a little mask and a lot of strings.
“I actually think this is my favourite one. I actually really like it because it's risque enough without showing your whole butt.
“If I was going somewhere, I'd wear this. Maybe I'm crazy, I just really like this. How cute am I? A dragon ninja?”
Danielle also tried on a black bat costume, as she continued: “While I have loved the direction we've been going in – love is a stretch – I wanted to get something that you could just throw on over a dress, again for teachers or people who don't wanna go hard for Halloween. This one is a classic for you.
“It's a bat. It’s very easy. It is actually a black dress. I don't know if you could tell that it's bat, but if you're a teacher and you wanna dress up, it's really easy.”
Danielle’s haul continued with a Where’s Wally costume, as she said: “You can be a hater all you want, but if I was still a teacher, this is probably what I'd wear.
“This is so easy. You could wear this literally anywhere. Why am I obsessed? This is so good.
“Even if you're not plus size, this is the best one.”
Next up, Danielle donned a Cruella De Vil look, as she explained: “Okay, now wig aside here, this is a good costume.
“It's got bangs on it, but I can't see. But for real, though, this is a good costume. Anybody can wear it.”
Finally, Danielle showed off her last costume, a Santa Claus outfit, as she beamed: “Ho, ho, ho mother trucker.
“If none of these appease you, you could always get a men's Santa costume.
“Say what you want, but this is a dang good Santa costume if it came with a freaking beard.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @daniellexstyles, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly racked up 29,300 views in just three days.
Social media users loved Danielle’s clip and were eager to share their thoughts on her costumes in the comments.
One person said: “You look great!! The Snow White was made for you!”
Another added: “I was NOT ready for the amount of laughs!! Love all of them though!”
A third commented: “I’m sold on the cat costume.”
