Man shows bizarre solution as neighbor refusing to pay for new fence – but no one’s on his side

A SEEMINGLY fed-up neighbor has revealed the bizarre solution he had for a shared fence that needed replacement.

He claimed his neighbor refused to split the costs of fixing their shared deteriorating fence – so he took matters into his own hands.

"When your neighbor doesn't want to replace the aging fence,"the Texas-based neighbor wrote over a video showing his brand new fence.

Then, he opened a gate in the fence to reveal the brand new one is about two feet away from the old, aging fence.

Therefore, there are two fences with a small gap of land between them.

"I even offered to pay for half and to do the work," he added.

In a follow-up video, the man claimed his neighbor did not want to pay for the fence because she was upset he would not front the money for a piece of fence that was technically only on her property.

So, since the man wouldn't help with that portion of the fence, the neighbor didn't want to replace any of it.

While he did admit that he lost about two feet of property by erecting the new fence without taking the old one down, he said it's worth it.

"Now we can actually use this part of the side of the house without having to worry about [the fence] falling down," he noted.

And while the poster seemed happy with his new fence, viewers absolutely trolled him for taking such action.

"Now you paid 100 percent and lost some space in your yard," one person wrote with a laughing emoji.

"Well you just shafted yourself because now they simply pull down the old one and they have another foot of land and free firewood!" a second viewer pointed out.

"They didn’t wanna spend money, that doesn’t make them a Karen," another argued.

Yet a fourth user shared the same sentiment, writing: "So you built a fence in front of the broken one and you paid in full and did the work.
