MRS HINCH cleaning fans have revealed the £1.25 buy that will banish mould from window blinds.

We all know windows and blinds can get mouldy during the winter because of the cold, damp and miserable weather.

But cleaning fans have revealed a hack to stop blinds from getting mouldy and another that will stop condensation in the first place.

Mrs Hinch's army of cleaning fans have dedicated social media pages to share their own cleaning tips.

In one such group, a woman revealed how she banished mould from her verticle blinds.

She wrote: "My vertical blinds were covered in mould. I used this mould and mildew spray from home bargains (for) £1.25.

"Sprayed on and left for 15 mins and it was gone!"

She accompanied her post with pictures of the blinds before and after spraying the mould and mildew spray and the results were amazing.

Her mouldy blinds came up good as new and it took her just seconds to do with virtually no scrubbing.

The cleaning fan used Astonish Mould and Mildew spray that costs £1.25 from Home Bargains.

People were stunned by the results and many praised the cleaning product.

One cleaning fan revealed how to keep condensation at bay with a simple cleaning hack.

They wrote: "If you wash your windows in washing up liquid it will help with condensation too."

One person asked: "Do you just leave it on or wipe it off? may be a daft question." 

The woman replied that she simply sprayed the cleaner onto the blinds and left it to work for 24 hours.

For tougher mould stains she used a sponge.

She wrote: "I sprayed and left on. I used a sponge for the tougher parts but honestly it removed 95% of it just by spraying."

Another person added: "Brilliant stuff that. Use it on my blinds."

"Worked on mine too. I sprayed on and when I went back to scrub them it had already gone, hasn't come back since," penned a third.
