Mum of boys shares simple way she REMOVES toilet seat to clean it & frantic people are checking to see if they can too
CLEANING the loo certainly isn't the most glamorous household chore – but when you have boys in the house, it's something you have to VERY often.
One person who knows a little something about this is Essex-based mum Emily Norris – who has three little boys.
Posting on her TikTok account, the mum blogger explained how she uses a little-knock hack to remove her toilet seat entirely.
Giving her 70,000 followers a step-by-step guide, Emily said: "Did you know that most toilet seats come off so you can clean them deeper?"
In the clip, Emily lifts up the seat to reveal two buttons hiding underneath.
She continued: "Mine just has these silver buttons here and you just have to press them in and the whole thing just comes off.
"And living with four boys, this is a very useful hack for me!"
Unsurprisingly, Emily's life hack video has been viewed over 150,000 times – and people frantically began checking their own toilet seats.
"Thanks for the tip," one wrote. "I never knew it!"
Another added: "My one has a button in the middle underneath!"
I love Jackson’s little face in this photo! He was running around trying to pick up pumpkins but could only manage the tiny ones and wasn’t happy about it 😂🥰 #norrisfam #pumpkinpicking @hollywatersphotography

"Mind blown," a third wrote. "I've done this on our toilet today!"
Another joked: "It's 1:01am and I've just walked all the way to the toilet to check this hack."
And if that wasn't enough, one Mrs Hinch fan was shocked to discover a secret compartment in her washing machine last week – which prompted people to frantically check theirs too.
For more cleaning tips, this mum instantly got rid of creases in school shirts with £1 B&M spray and it’s so good she doesn’t need an iron.
And cleaning fanatics are racing to buy 89p Fabulosa Daisy Chain and claim it smells JUST like Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume.
Plus this mum got her son’s grubby white T-shirt sparkling again with FREE cleaning hack – and all you have to do is leave it outside.
