My neighbour branded my jewellery as ‘deeply inappropriate’ – she even emailed me to complain, but I love it | The Sun

A FASHION fanatic has told of the moment a neighbour branded her jewellery as "deeply inappropriate" – but insists it won't stop her from wearing it.

Imogen Evans launched her own label at the end of 2020 after leaving her job as a live-in nanny.

Her sustainable brand Imi Studios has a following of more than 70,000 people on TikTok and various big-name celebrities have worn her pieces – including Tallia Storm, Love Island's Mal Nicol and musician Anderson .Paak.

But not everyone is a fan of her bold designs.

Imogen told how one unhappy neighbour even complained after discovering one of her explicit rings spells out the word 'c***'.

The jewellery, available in gold and silver, can be worn across two fingers and costs £45.

In a clip posted to TikTok, Imogen said: "A couple of weeks ago when I was packing up my car to move flats, one of my old neighbours approached me and asked about my brand because she wanted to check it out.

"I gave her the name and the next day, I got an email from her saying that the rings we stock are deeply inappropriate and could easily be taken the wrong way."

Clapping back at herneighbour, she revealed: "This is for you, we're having our biggest ring restock tomorrow night."

Imogen's followers flocked to the comments to weigh in on the situation.
