Royal baby Archie could help change Meghan Markle’s ‘difficult’ image, brand expert claims

THE royal family gained a new member last week when Archie Harrison was born into the world.

And an expert has claimed that the new baby could be instrumental in improving Meghan Markle’s image within “The Firm”.

Since marrying Prince Harry last May, Meghan has been linked to some unfortunate rumours about having difficulties within the royal family.

She is said to have clashed with Kate Middleton when she told off one of her staff members, and reduced the duchess to tears over a dress fitting for Princess Charlotte.

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, is also said to have rubbed staff up the wrong way by bombarding them with texts in the early hours and making demands like filling her wedding venue with air fresheners.

Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, said the baby could change the way Meghan is perceived in the family.

He said to the Express: “Meghan Markle’s new baby boy shifts her image from Royal Family outcast, being referred to as ‘bridezilla’ and ‘difficult,’ to new mother of the seventh in line to the throne.

“Royal babies have a power to bring people together and will douse flames of outrage surrounding the controversial Duchess of Sussex and create a halo of positivity for the Royal Family.”

Last year, a YouGov survey found Meghan to be the least favourite of the “Fab Four”.

Prince Harry was voted as the favourite member of the family with 77 per cent of Britons having a popular opinion of him.

The Duke of Sussex, who is sixth in line to the throne, was followed in the poll by the Queen, who had 74 per cent approval by the public.

And heir to the throne Prince William took third place with 73 per cent of those polled thinking favourably of him.

Ranking fourth was Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton, who had 64 per cent of the public’s approval, and fifth was retired Prince Philip with 55 per cent of those surveyed liking him.

Royal newbie Meghan Markle was sixth on the list with 55 per cent of people having a positive reaction – but could this be boosted with the new baby?

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6 and weighed 7lb 6oz.

We shared how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘will NOT reveal Archie’s birth certificate’.

It was revealed that Meghan gave Archie the middle name Harrison as a "tribute to her favourite Beatle".

His moniker is also believed to be a tribute to Princess Diana, who has an ancestor called Archibald Campbell, 9th Earl of Argyll.
