Woman who wanted a cotton candy Christmas tree makes one using a bathroom buy & totally divides opinion in the process | The Sun
A WOMAN decided to get creative and design her own cotton candy Christmas tree – using nothing but shower puffs.
Social media user Sam Holtwick, aka @samholtwick, filmed herself making her festive creation and posted the video on TikTok.
She wrote alongside it: “Call me crazy but how have I not thought of this before?!
“When you want a Christmas Candy Theme tree but don’t want to pay a ridiculous amount.”
Sam then showed how she achieved the candy tree, starting off by picking up some colourful shower puffs.
Then she fluffed them out and glued a white cone to the top of it so that it looked like a sweet.

Once she had made a generous amount, the video cut to her daughter looking thrilled with her mum’s creation.
The two of them put the DIY decorations onto their white and sparkly Christmas tree.
However, the finished look completely split her followers, as the video went viral with 126,000 likes.
Many said they weren’t a fan of it and that they couldn’t get past the fact that it had the bathroom buy on it.
