A Dog Worth $500 Million Is Selling Madonnas Former Mansion For $32 Million
The world’s wealthiest dog is about to get a little richer. Gunther VI, a German Shepherd worth half a billion dollars, is selling his Miami mansion for $31.75 million. The Tuscan-style villa was previously owned by pop icon Madonna.
You’re probably wondering how a German Shepperd got his paws on such a massive fortune.
The canine’s estate has also invested in real estate, publishing, sports teams, nightclubs, and scientific research.

The mansion the pooch is selling is located in a prestigious Miami neighborhood, tucked into an ultra-private gated residence. The estate sits on a 51,000 square foot lot with 100 feet of water frontage featuring lush landscaping, breathtaking open bay and city views, and a dock to soak in the South Florida sunshine.
Spanning 8,400-sq.ft, with nine bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms, the residence is one of only six waterfront homes in the exclusive enclave.
Agents acting on behalf of Gunther’s grandfather, Gunther IV, bought the 1.2-acre mansion from pop star Madonna for $7.5 million. A portrait of Gunther IV hangs over the living room fireplace, monogrammed in gold.
“He lives in Madonna’s former master bedroom,” Assouline said. “He literally sleeps overlooking the most magnificent view in an Italian custom bed in the former bedroom of the greatest pop star in the world.”
Although Gunther VI appears to enjoy his time in Miami, his handlers have decided to cash in on the real estate bubble. The dog’s main residence is a home in Tuscany.
