Bingo host suspended after foul-mouthed rant on stage during ‘shambles’ event

A bingo host was suspended after launching into a foul-mouthed rant on stage during a 'shambolic' event.

Bongo Bingo were running the event at Blackpool Tower on Friday, May 10 when the bingo caller is said to have started hurling swear words at one member of the audience.

Footage from inside the event showed him ranting at the audience member as shocked customers watched on in disbelief, reports the Liverpool Echo .

Ashlea Jade was inside the iconic venue and recorded a clip of the caller, who has a Liverpool accent, saying: "Go and sit down and shut the f*** up. You stupid baldy little b******, honest to god."

She tweeted saying: "So this was the bingo caller @ last nights @BongosBingo in Blackpool. He was so rude & couldn’t even speak he was that off his head."

After the bingo callers rant, he then returns to calling out numbers, with many audience members later complaining about the event.

Customers slammed the caller as 'rude', with one guest describing the night as 'an absolute shambles'.

They also claimed the host missed out games, lines and jackpots as part of the bingo night.

Bongo's Bingo replied directly to several customers on Twitter , informing them the host had been suspended and that everyone would be entitled to a refund.

The apologetic post said: "We sincerely apologise for our host's behaviour last night at Blackpool Tower. He has now been suspended and we are doing a full investigation.

"All ticket holders will get a full refund and they are all being processed today. Look out for an email from us soon! Thank you."

The events company run one of the biggest club nights in the country – with special appearances from the likes of Jeremy Corbyn and Kelis.

With the incredible success of the raucous bingo nights taking off around the world, the company has hosted parties in Ibiza and Sydney.

However, it was an event at Blackpool Tower that left audience members absolutely 'fuming' at the 'shambolic' display from one host.

Bongo's Bingo previously advertised a host job with the company – with a salary of up to £50,000 on offer for living the party lifestyle on stage.

Tickets for the events have been known to sell out in minutes, with fans eager to get involved in the wild party nights and unbelievable prizes on offer.
