Gemma Collins has really good relationship with stepson Tristans mum and reveals Christmas plans
Gemma Collins has revealed that she has a 'really good relationship' with stepson Tristan's mum as she opened up on Christmas plans.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 40, who recently revealed that her boyfriend Rami Hawash is taking her to Bethlehem over Christmas, exclusively revealed to OK! that she loves three year old Tristan 'to death' and has bought all of his Christmas presents.
Gemma, who rekindled her romance with Rami, 45, in the summer after they first dated in 2011, described how she will be spending time with Tristan over Christmas at her £1.35million home in Essex along with her nephews including 13 year old Hayden.
The blonde beauty revealed that she will 'definitely' be enjoying quality time with her adorable stepson over the festive period, as she added: "I have got a really good relationship with his mum and we all love Tristan to death.
"We haven't properly finalised the last details but definitely. He is going to be so excited and I have actually already bought all of his Christmas presents."
Gemma, who also described herself as 'Mrs Claus', added: "He [Tristan] is the first one I have bought for actually so I have had to put his presents up in the loft.
"You know what, with children it is best not to spoil them too much because I think kids need to understand the value of stuff."
Speaking about what Tristan will be unwrapping on Christmas Day, Gemma said: "He is obsessed with Stick Man! So all of the Julia Donaldson books and stuff like that. Little bits and pieces but I just love him to death so I have booked to go to Lapland UK plus I have my nephews and stuff."
She continued: "For me, I treat everyone else at Christmas, I am Mrs Claus! I treat everyone all year round to be honest!"
Meanwhile Gemma, who has collaborated with Amazon Handmade for the Gemma Collins & Friends Christmas Collection alongside designers Siobhan Murphy and Paul Moneypenny, revealed that she is a huge fan of 'personalised items' which mean more to her than 'something big'.
"The campaign has been amazing so basically the reason I loved Amazon Handmade was because it's been perfect for me because the products have all been hand-crafted and individual items that you can't get anywhere else," she explained.
"Plus, for me, so many businesses have been affected by Covid such as small, family-run and independent businesses."
Gemma continued: "I think more than ever people are trying to support small, local businesses. I like the feeling that I have helped a local business as well. They really appreciate it and the products are just more personalised."
Asked about what she has purchased from the collection, Gemma revealed: "I bought lovely cushions that say The GC Christmas on them and a mat with The GC on it. I just loved them and they are really good quality too."
"I have also picked a really quirky lampshade – you know me, I love weird and wonderful things in my home – I don't buy what everyone else has got. It's blue with peacocks all over it – I can't describe it! It's stunning!"
Gemma added: "It is Christmas every day for me and what I mean by that I am happy and I don't need anything so for me when people ask to buy me stuff I prefer personalised items. I don't need something big – it is the personal touches that mean something to me."
The Gemma Collins & Friends Christmas Collection is available now at Amazon Handmade.
