An influencer has revealed how videos can be edited to make someone look slimmer with just a few clicks of a button. 

Danae Mercer, who lives in Dubai and boast more than two million followers on Instagram, shared a video demonstrating how the Pretty Up app can make her legs longer, smooth her skin, and shrink her waist.

The model and journalist, who often posts about unrealistic beauty standards online, posted the videos last week and her followers said the results are ‘terrifying’ and ‘shocking’.

She starts by shrinking her waist, and then elongates her legs and makes her breasts bigger.

Within seconds, she’s able to also edit her face by smoothing her skin and making her nose smaller.

Last month, she posted a series of videos to Instagram showing her step-by-step guide to getting the perfect beach picture, and how influencers fake ‘looking relaxed’ in photos.

In one, called ‘how influencers pose on the beach’ the journalist starts by lying flat on her stomach on a sandy shore, clad in a red and white striped bikini.
