Working remotely has made me more productive and far less stressed.
I’ve loved not having a long commute, and not needing to wear restrictive, dull suits, and it has been wonderful being able to avoid office politics too.
But now my company has said we all have to work at least half the week back in the office.

I want to stay working remotely and am wondering if I should look for another job that allows me to do this full-time.
I’ve never felt I fitted in at work, and the thought of being in that office for ten hours a day again is depressing me.
DEIDRE SAYS: Talk to your HR department/manager, pointing out your increased productivity, and ask if you can come to an arrangement about more home-working.
If your company won’t budge, do start thinking about another job. My support pack on Looking For Work might help.
