Stacey Solomon has given a peek inside her latest DIY project at her £1.2million Essex home.
The 31 year old, who has recently revealed that she is considering a home birth with her fourth child and first daughter, took to social media to share the miniature kitchen renovation with her 4.6million Instagram followers.
Stacey described how the small kitchenette between her 13 year old son Zachary and nine year old son Leighton's bedrooms had become a 'workman's kitchen' following the renovations on her utility room and the mum-of-three wanted to transform the space for her boys.
Taking to her Instagram story, Stacey said: "Right boys are fed, bathed and settling down so I'm going to see what I can do in here. This is their little sink/cupboardy bit next to their bedroom and I want to make it so they can make their own breakfast and pot noodles etc. So I'm going to get started tonight and see what I can do."
We can see that the former kitchen area had plain wooden cupboards and floral curtains while the sink appeared splattered with paint from the building work.
Stacey applied a white marble-effect vinyl to cover the plastic black worktops before painting the cupboards with three coats of deep blue paint.
She then explained how she scrubbed the stainless steel sink before choosing a white matte spray paint for a modern look.
The pregnant TV star then enlisted the help of her fiancé Joe Swash, 39, to spray paint the sink area order to avoid the fumes from the DIY task.
She said: "I've managed to rope Joe into this project to spray paint the sink because I can't. You can imagine how happy he is.
"I've come back in and Joe said that it is too smelly to do anything else so I'm going to call it a night and show you how it turned out. "
Mum-of-three Stacey took to social media after the paint had dried to reveal that she was going to add some faux hanging plants to create a homely feel.
Stacey said: "Rex has gone down for a nap so I've come back to the boys' cupboardy bit. The sink looks better than I thought! I'll home it up a bit with some fejkas and then show you. I don't know why I'm holding my fejkas up like they are pom poms!"
The gorgeous TV star posted the finished project which featured grey soap dispensers to complement the blue colour scheme along with glass jars filled with cereal and gold handles on the cupboards.
Stacey was in awe of her kitchenette makeover and captioned the finished snap: "I honestly can't believe it."
