Khloé Kardashian is showing love to her child’s father and “best friend,” Tristan Thompson, on his 30th birthday.

The 36-year-old reality star welcomed the former NBA baller into his third decade with a sweet note via Instagram, where she spoke of the expected trials and tribulations of relationships that are simply “meant to be.”

“The ones that are meant to be are the ones who go through everything that is designed to tear them apart and they came out even stronger than they were before,” she began the dedication.

“Thank you for showing me everything you said you would. For the father you are. For the best friend I have in you,” she continued. “I’m thankful that I can do absolutely nothing with you and it feels like everything. I hope you know today and everyday how loved you are by me and so many.”

“Welcome to 30! I can’t wait for all of the memories,” she added. “This is when life just starts getting good!”

The birthday post accompanied a photo of the pair dressed to the nines alongside 2-year-old daughter, True. Khloé recently opened up about attempting to have another child with Thompson, revealing that she has gone through IVF “three different times” in an attempt to give True a sibling.

“I froze my eggs once already and when I was ready to make embryos with Tristan, I was making embryos,” she said on Sarah Hyland’s “Ellen” original digital series, “Lady Parts,” adding that “none of them survived” after she defrosted the eggs that she had frozen.

After the failed attempts, Khloé said she realized her eggs weren’t strong enough to be frozen.

The coronavirus pandemic also delayed her and Thompson’s family expansion.
