Waking up in the morning can be hard enough as it is when you’re tired, but factor in bright light coming through your windows too and it makes for quite the rude awakening sometimes.
And clearly Lidl have your back, because the popular store has introduced some blackout blinds which are sure to block out any unwanted light.
What’s more, for the smallest version of the blinds sold at Lidl you’ll pay just £6.99 – talk about purse-friendly.

The news of the amazing blackout blinds came to light, excuse the pun, as one savvy shopper took to Facebook group DIY On A Budget to rave about them.
“Lidl blinds added to my kitchen, they only had the smaller sizes so I bought 2 and put together.
“Such a bargain for £6.99 each” she said, clearly excited by the price tag and the ability of the lights to block out the light.
What’s more, the blinds are easy on the eye too and they have two settings, with one mode allowing some light through.
Fellow shoppers were quick to rush to the comment section to share their delight about the blinds.

“Love these,” wrote one, while another simply said: “Need to have a look.”
A third person said: “I have a set of these. Their brilliant and don’t cost an arm and a leg.” [sic]
Others tagged their friends, while a fourth penned: “We should get these for the lounge.”
Another shopper was less than impressed because they’d just a similar pair for £200 from somewhere else.

“I’ve got a 5ft one of these and it cost me nearly £200 to have made… so yours is a complete bargain,” they penned.
While you’re visiting the popular store, you could also stock up on Lidl’s popular melting chocolate cottage which is the perfect Christmas buy.
The £6.99 confection makes for the ideal Instagram moment as the chocolate sauce that it comes with is poured into the chimney and it begins to melt and ooze sweet goodness.
And if you're really looking to really amp up the sweet tooth Lidl have also released two festive ice cream flavours to accompany your dessert – Deluxe mince pie and Deluxe gingerbread tubs.
