If you're a fan of Line of Duty you will know that DS Steve Arnott is concerned with one thing only – catching bent coppers.
However when he’s not on our television screens doing just that, Martin Compston, who plays Steve Arnott, is spending time with his gorgeous wife Tianna Chanel Flynn at their amazing Las Vegas home.
Yes, Martin’s life is a far cry away from what we see on Line of Duty, and he even has a different accent too!
The 36 year old star let his true accent to while breaking out of his DI Steve Arnott role on set, as he celebrated the Scottish National Team as they qualified for Euro 2020.

He leans into his car in the clip, with police lights still flashing, and asks for “two seconds” while he gets invested in the football news.
There’s a long pause on the clip and all of a sudden the actor erupts, shouting and screaming at the top of his lungs in celebration.
As he yells: “Come on!” you can hear the star’s Scottish accent very clearly, especially when he then shouts: “Come on, Scotland!”
Steve’s Scottish roots shone through in the clip, which has been watched by over half a million people on Instagram.

The star captioned the Instagram clip: “With an ep 2 epaulettes spoiler out the way, I can reveal what happens when your in the middle of raiding bent coppers but @ScotlandNT are in a penalty shoot out to end 20 year of heartache."
He then amusingly surmised: "Steve to Scots in point zero seconds .. [man dancing emoji, Scottish flag emoji] #yessirwecanboogie ".
Where is Martin Compston from?
Martin was born and raised in Greenock in Scotland, and he even had a brief career as a professional footballer after leaving school, and played for Greenock Morton F.C.

However his acting career then took off and we’re very glad it did as he’s come to screens as the iconic character DI Steve Arnott as a result.
Martin was first cast in Ken Loach’s film Sweet Sixteen, and he won the Most Promising Newcomer award at the British Independent Film Awards in 2002.
His career has then gone from strength to strength, but it is perhaps Line of Duty for which the actor is best known.

Martin met his wife in the Hudson Hotel in LA, when Tianna was working as nightclub manager.
They married in 2016, at the Compston family chapel in Greenock, Renfrew, where the actor is from.
The bride was walked down the aisle by her Irish father, who is an ex solider, as well as her American stepdad.
Incidentally, Tianna's Irish heritage was a key part of their courtship as Martin performed a medley of Irish songs to charm his wife-to-be early on.
