Molly-Mae Hague truly has transformed her image in the few years since she made theLove Island 2019 finals.

Now creative director for Pretty Little Thing, with huge beauty collaborations with the likes of Beauty Works and Cosmetips under her belt, it’s like she’s a different woman from the bombshell we saw strut into the Love Island villa in a little black dress.

So, from the Love Island hair look that catapulted her to fame, to pairing back her beauty look bydissolving her fillers and having thecomposite bonding on her teeth removed, we look back at the transformation Molly-Mae has been on since 2019…

2019 – Love Island entry look

Molly-Mae was a knockout from the minute she entered the villa. Her icy blonde hair, which never seemed to go brassy, was perfectly styled into glossy tousled waves and fell just above her waist.

The look had the whole of Twitter demanding to know if she was wearing extensions, and if so, where they could shop them.

2019 – THE bun

Molly-Mae almost instantly became synonymous with a top knot. But not just any top knot, this bun was a thing of beauty. Perfectly wrapped, not a hair out of place, and with thickness that we could only ever dream of.

2019 – Post-villa glam

The months after leaving the Love Island villa were some of Molly-Mae’s most glamorous. She appeared on red carpets with a blinding white smile, a very defined pout and a contoured base.

2019 – Red carpet revival

The now-22 year old really cemented the strong status of her relationship with Love Island beauTommy Furyat the 2019 Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards. With a trendy ‘60s-style updo, most likely inspired by Hailey Bieber, we saw a different side to Molly-Mae and her usual modern glam.

2019 – The new bob

The star surprised her Instagram fans when she premiered a short hair look for the first time late in 2019. It was to be the start of transitioning from mermaid waves to cooler, extension-free looks – and the start of her journey to becoming “more natural”.

2020 – Hair boss

Molly-Mae teamed up with Beauty Works, her long-time hair extension brand of choice, back in 2020. She’s since launched sell-out collaborations, including her Waver Kit, Curl Kit (volume one and two), and Straightener set.

2021 – Lip filler removal

If Molly-Mae surprised fans when she cut off her long hair, then we can guarantee they were nothing short of stunned when she revealed in a YouTube video that she’d had her lip fillers dissolved.

“I’m not against filler at all and if it makes you happy and more confident then I love that! But for me I wish I’d done it sooner,” she said on the subject.

2021 – Teeth transformation

The blonde beauty went one step further shortly after dissolving her fillers, and had the composite bonding on her teeth removed. The aim was to get a more natural-looking smile back.

“On this journey to becoming more natural, I decided it was time for one more change. Goodbye composite bonds, hello natural teethies,” she said.

2021 – Bringing out the businesswoman

The star has just announced she’s been appointed creative director at Pretty Little Thing – a brand she says she’s always loved and worn.

Appearing with natural glowing skin, her iconic waved hair and a blazer suit, Molly-Mae proves she’s come a long way since Love Island. Her beauty transformation certainly demonstrates that!
