Paul Cattermoles life away from S Club – Tarot card reading to paranormal investigator
S Club 7's Paul Cattermole has tragically died aged 46.
Paul rose to fame as part of the the seven-piece pop group, which were originally created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller in 1998 and produced hits including Reach, Don’t Stop Movin’ and their debut Bring It All Back.
However, the former singer left the hit 90’s band at the height of their success in 2002, due to “creative differences” with his band members Jo O’Meara and Rachel Stevens.
In the years that followed, Paul struggled for cash after leaving the music industry and he sold his BRIT awards on eBay that the band won for Best Single in 2002 and his Best Newcomer award from 2000.
He said at the time: “I don’t want the other members to think that I’m dissing the band by selling it, but there are bills to pay.”
Following the band's success, Paul had a surprising career change.
He left the music industry behind and completed a week-long educational course to master the skill of physic reading.
The public could phone into a premium call service for a 20 minute session with the star all for £39.95.
Paul detailed his skills on Ask The Answer where he claimed to also be a psychic, clairvoyant and spirit coach.
The singer-turned-psychic wrote: “I have an abundance of experience and knowledge to share with you from my days in pop band S Club 7 to my present role as a spiritual psychic where my reputation over the years has earned me the title of Psychic Detective.
"I have a keen interest in getting to the root and cause of any problem as an Intuitive Paranormal Investigator."
His career change seemed to be a success as his new clients have rated him four out of five stars for his services.
However, the former singer clarified that he preferred specific questions so he can take a deep “dive” into the subject.
In his bio, Paul reassured readers that his services are “uplifting and fun” and each reading is done with “empathy and compassion.” He signed it off: "Peace be the journey of Life, Paul."
According to The Sun, the singer did not expect to be so terrible in the training course at Spiritual Studio.
He said: "I wasn’t expecting to be so bad. I broke through a glass ceiling, which I didn’t expect to be able to do. I didn’t even see it coming."
Prior to his professional training, Paul was offering tarot card readings on his YouTube channel.
