It’s the watery, emotional Pisces Full Moon on Tuesday, September 21 at 12.55am, so be prepared to turn inwards and do some soul searching. You’ll feel the power of this Full Moon the night of Setepmber 20 and September 21, so make the most of it. Express.co.uk chatted to Moon Mentor and author of Lunar Living: Working with the Magic of the Moon Cycles, Kirsty Gallagher (@kirsty_gallagher_ on Instagram) to find out what the Pisces Full Moon on Tuesday means for you.

The last Full Moon was in Aquarius, which means this month it is going to be in Pisces.

The journey we’ve all been on emotionally since the Aquarius Moon is immense.

Kirsty explained: “The last Aquarius Full Moon, the Blue Moon, came along to finish what the first Aquarius full moon started and to help you to really step into who you are here to be.

“Then along came the Virgo New Moon asking you to devote daily time to knowing yourself, trusting yourself, and taking small steps towards where you want to go and living more of your dreams each day.

“Now, moving us into a new season in all ways is the Pisces Full Moon.”

You’ll need to spend some time soul searching by yourself around this Full Moon, according to Kirsty.

She said: “If I can give you one real piece of advice for this Full Moon it’s to take some time alone so that you can go inwards and truly listen.

“You may find the Moon giving you a helping hand in this need to retreat as you find yourself worn out and exhausted and unable to cope with being around too many people or in certain environments and situations – especially those that drain and pull on your time and energy.”

The Pisces Full Moon is lighting up everything you’re failing to recognise is a waste of time.

Kirsty said: “She will illuminate who and what you allowed to pull you off track and take up too much of your precious time and energy.

“As the moon shows you all of this and calls you into some time alone to go inward, she is showing you what you are finally ready to consciously let go of.

“There have been things you have been working with for a few cycles now, relationships, situations, behaviours, beliefs that you know aren’t working and are in fact holding you back.

“You will know on a deep soul level what you are ready to let go of, you’ll feel it from deep within, you’ll feel it in your bones.

“Neptune joining the Moon in his ruling planet is here to help you to dissolve what you are ready to let go of on a soul level and will show you what you need to release for your own growth.”

The Pisces Full Moon happens the day before the Autumn Equinox. offering us a big release point before we shift into a turn of season.

Kirsty said: “As we move into Autumn, we are going to be asked to really shed what no longer serves us.

“We should all start to draw our awareness into our inner world to receive the nourishment, wisdom, and stillness that we need.”

As the saying goes, you can’t keep doing the same things and expecting different results.

Kirsty asked: “What is it finally time to shed, release and let go of?

“What has run its course? What no longer supports your growth or the true north direction you want to go?

“What do you not want to take into this next season with you?

“This Full Moon truly is an ending, a completion, a release. It is an ending to create a new beginning.”
