Rare 10p, 50p and £2 coins with valuable Kew Gardens design worth fortune online
Rare coins are undoubtedly one of the most popular collections out there.
Some 10p, 50p and £2 coins could fetch loads of money, especially on eBay.
Now if you're curious which ones are worth the most, the results have been revealed based on Scarcity Index by Change Checker.
It's no surprise that the Kew Gardens 50p is one of the most popular among collectors with it fetching up to £200 easily online.
Meanwhile, the rarest 10p is the R for Robin coin, which moved up two places in the Scarcity Index, reports Mirror Online.
According to the latest Scarcity Index, the Kew Gardens 50p coin tops the list as the rarest.
The 50p coin was created by Christopher Le Brun and it features the Chinese Pagoda from the gardens.
It is thought to be rare as there are only a few thousands, compared to a standard minting of around 5 million.
Meanwhile, the 10p list is made of the alphabet A to Z collection, released in 2018 and 2019 to celebrate all things British.
There are 26 coins in the set to correspond with the 26 letters in the alphabet.
The rarest one from that collection is now R for Robin which was launched to celebrate the red breast bird.
Its design features an adorable robin sitting in the letter R with snowflake falling around it.
Around 284,000 had been released into circulation in total, with one recently selling for £14 on eBay.
Next on the list is W for World Wide Web, which was previously top of the rarest 10p pieces on the last Scarcity Index.
