Woman shows off battered pizza dinner – but Facebook users brand her an ‘animal’
When a woman shared a picture of dinner online, she disgusted foodies.
The lass sparked uproar when she showed off her “battered pizza” on Facebook’s Rate My Takeaway Group.
Her meal consisted of four deep fried slices, which appear to be filled with cheese and chicken.
This tends to be known as a “pizza crunch” in Scotland, which is where the poster is from.
But while Scots are keen on the delicacy, some couldn’t get on board with it.
The artery-clogging pizza was branded “disgusting” and “another level of wrong”.
It prompted hundreds of angry comments, with one Facebook user saying the pizza was “too far”.
A second responder asked: “Why do people keep doing s*** like this it’s DISGUSTING?”
Another said: “Battered pizza … f*** me what’s wrong with people.”
A fourth remarked: “That is another level of wrong. I bet there’s pineapple on it as well.”
And a fifth added: “You need locking up you dirty animal.”
Others were concerned about how the dish would affect your health.
A Facebook user argued: “That is repulsive and should not be a thing. A coronary on a plate.”
Another said: “Heart attack right there don't worry about COVID-19.”
And a third added: “My heart stopped working for a second… Not because I felt in love…
“Because of the attack I experienced by looking at this grease.”
Despite the backlash, some defended the deep-fried takeaway.
One commenter admitted: “Battered half pizza – used to get it every day at lunch from school. Best stuff going.”
A second said: “I’ve had battered pizza and it’s gorgeous.”
And another responded: “OK admittedly I’d give it a go….yes I’m a monster.”
