Aaron Ramsey scoops £8m signing-on fee at Juventus plus huge appearance bonus after agreeing free transfer from Arsenal

AARON RAMSEY has been offered a massive £8million signing-on fee by Juventus if he moves to Turin in the summer, according to reports in Italy.

His five-year contract would also reportedly include hefty appearance bonuses rising up to £900,000 per season.

Ramsey is said to have signed a pre-contract agreement with the Italian giants on Thursday after Arsenal decided to rescind their contract extension offer last year.

And La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed the details of the offer Juventus made to the 28-year-old Welshman in order to lure the midfielder on a free transfer in the summer.

Ramsey has reportedly been offered a five-year deal with a fixed salary of £5.85m net per season.

That is only a tiny upgrade to his £110,000-per-week Arsenal wage.

However, many incentives await for Ramsey if he decides to join Juventus for free.

The Serie A champions hope a hefty £8m signing-on fee will convince the Welshman to snub Paris Saint-Germain and Inter, and choose a move to Turin instead.

In addition, the Old Lady will pay the midfielder an extra £449,000 if he plays 50 per cent of the games in a season.

And the bonus rises to £900,000 if he breaks into the first team for good and plays 70 per cent of the matches.

Juventus are determined to win the race for Ramsey's signature as they are set to lose out on the PSG ace Adrien Rabiot, who is in talks with Barcelona.

They also fear that the Parisians, who have been closely monitoring the Welshman's situation, might double down on their efforts to sign Ramsey if they lose their man to the Catalans.

But Ramsey's camp has reportedly welcomed Juventus' offer with great interest, making the Italians confident they will seal the deal.

The Gunners ace has made over 300 appearances for Arsenal, and has become the club's hero thanks to his FA Cup-winning strikes against Hull in 2014, and Chelsea in 2017.
