David Beckham in tears with wife Victoria after watching Lionel Messi's last-gasp debut winner for his Inter Miami side | The Sun
DAVID BECKHAM was left in tears after Lionel Messi scored a stunning last-gasp winner on his Inter Miami debut.
The superstar came off the bench to win the game in the fourth minuted of added time in typical Messi fashion.
He bent a 25-yard free-kick over the wall and into the back of the net – a strike Beckham would have been proud of.
Becks, 48, could not contain his emotion and started welling up, with wife Victoria on hand to embrace him.
He also hugged his daughter Harper who was there to witness the moment of magic alongside her older brother Brooklyn.
The former England captain then high fived his co-owner Jorge Mas who was also in disbelief at what he had just witnessed.
