'I spent thousands building a man cave in my garden to watch Leeds… it has a pool table, bar and only took two weeks'
LEEDS UNITED fans are renowned for their passion – but one supporter has taken fandom to a whole new level by building a Leeds dedicated 'man cave.'
The project cost mega-fan Martin Potts thousands of pounds to complete, but the finished article is quite something to behold.
The 47-year-old is a season ticket holder at Elland Road, Leeds' home ground, and started the project in the back garden of his house in Fleetwood during lockdown in 2021.
It's complete with its own bar, pool table, darts board and two flat-screen TV's.
Not to mention the floor-to-ceiling Leeds memorabilia, which includes a shirt signed by the team.
And when he and his visitors aren't throwing arrows or potting balls, there's a handy sofa to sit back and watch the game from.

Even the table chairs are Leeds branded, with flags and scarves draping from the walls and ceiling.
There's also an incredible mural of Elland Road adorning one of the walls that wouldn't look out of place in an art gallery.

Martin, originally from Normanton near Leeds, enlisted the help of his friend to construct the 12ft x 12ft mega structure.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Post on the project, Martin said: "I have been a Leeds United fan since the age I could walk. The man cave was built by an ex army comrade for the cost of materials.
"My mate Leigh Coates from Garforth Whites supporters club also helped.
"It took about two weeks to build in my garden."
Martin went on to thank his partner for their patience during the construction of the building.
He added: "I must mention my supporting partner Jody Carter in all this, who had to put up with the constant earache over it."
