Sanchez has cost United £11m per goal and £20k per minute since disastrous transfer from Arsenal in 2018 – The Sun

ALEXIS SANCHEZ has been an expensive flop for Manchester United.

Sanchez, 30, currently pockets £505,000-a-week at United and he is widely expected to leave Old Trafford this month, with Inter Milan frontrunners for his signature.

The Serie A giants are supposedly only willing to pay him £150,000-per-week.

But what has been alarming is just how much the Chilean forward has cost the Red Devils with his dreadful displays.

After scoring 80 goals in 168 games at Arsenal, United were hoping for a similar kind of return.

However, according to Goal, he has cost United £11million per goal, £6.1m per assist and £2.5m per shot on target.

Added to that, he has cost £764,000 per chance created and £19,800 per minute he has played.

Gary Neville was quick to blast Sanchez earlier this week for his move from the Gunners when he said: "It’s been a disaster.

“I have no idea what's happened. There must be two of him. The one that played for Arsenal and Barcelona and then the one that's turned up in Manchester.

"They need to get him out of the club.”
