Watch forgotten Arsenal target play pass before walking off the pitch and down the tunnel to leave fans baffled | The Sun
FORMER Arsenal transfer target Julian Draxler bizarrely walked off the pitch before Al Ahli's game against Qatar SC was finished.
The German received the ball on the touchline and played a pass to his team-mate before turning around to walk off the field.
He headed straight down the tunnel to leave fans and his Al Ahli team-mates baffled.
Draxler, 30, had come on as a substitute in the match with his side trailing 3-0.
He scored twice before a fourth for Qatar QC wrapped up the three points, with Draxler deciding to walk off the pitch with seconds remaining.
Fans speculated as to why the midfielder left the field of play, with some suggesting he was injured.

His time at the Parc des Princes was underwhelming as he struggled to find his best form and spent last season out on loan at Benfica.
In a recent social media post Draxler opened up on his decision to leave PSG.
He wrote: "First of all, I look back on a wonderful time in Paris: I came in 2017 as a young man and now leave as an adult family man who has seen the world and has learned an incredible amount on and off the pitch over the past six years.
"For all the memories and experiences, I am extremely grateful to the club and all the people in Paris."
