Billie Faiers and footballer Wayne Bridge ‘sign up’ for Dancing On Ice line-up

Mummy Diaries star Billie Faiers and footballer Wayne Bridge are reported to be the latest celebs to sign up for the new series of Dancing On Ice.

Former Chelsea star Wayne is set to showcase his fancy footwork off the pitch as he joins a host of famous faces on the ice, according to show insiders, The Sun reported.

The dad-of-two is set to be cheered on by his wife and The Saturdays star Frankie, but will be feeling the pressure as he attempts to follow in her successful footsteps.

Singing superstar Frankie finished runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.

Daily Star Online previously revealed Frankie had tipped her hubby to be a front-runner on the new series.

After smashing his audition, Frankie said she reckoned he will be the one to beat.

She said: "Wayne is good at everything he does… annoyingly.

"So I’m sure he’ll be great at Dancing On Ice."

"I wouldn’t put it past him to do better than I did!"

Wayne will be hoping to continue his winning streak on the skating competition.

The footballer has already pulled off a reality TV victory by winning the first series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Reality telly star Billie will likely have her famed sister Sam supporting her from the side of the ice as she skates off for her own telly venture.

Billie first stepped into the reality TV limelight back in 2010 on The Only Way is Essex.

The yummy mummy, who is now worth a cool £4million, left the show following a six-year stint, before joining sister Sam on their ITVB spin-off show The Mummy Diaries.

The siblings’ partners and kids feature heavily in the show, which details the ins and outs of their lavish Essex lives.

But Billie won’t have to share the spotlight much longer as she dons her skates and sets out to be crowned ice queen in the new series.

DOI insiders told The Sun: "Dancing on Ice bosses are excited to bring in Billie after the success of her TOWIE co-star Gemma Collins.

"She's set to bring fun energy to the show.

"Wayne amused fans in lockdown with his TikTok moves, now they'll get to see how entertaining he is on the ice."

Celebs including Rebekah Vardy, Denise Van Outen and Jason Donovan are also said to be practising their skating skills after signing mega contracts.
