CAROL Kirkwood has received an outpouring of support after she announced a big career milestone away from BBC Breakfast.

The weather presenter had some exciting news to share.

Carol's publisher celebrated the success of her third novel, Secrets of the Villa Amore, becoming a Sunday Times top 10 bestseller.

The caption read: "Celebrating her Sunday Times top 10 bestseller with the amazing @carolkirkwood…" 

Photos from their lavish lunch together were shared on X/Twitter.

In one snap, Carol, 61 looked gorgeous in a red floral-print dress.
