Counting On’s Jill Duggar missing from sister-in-law’s baby shower after husband claims they’re banned from family home – The Sun

JILL Duggar wasn’t photographed at her sister-in-law’s baby shower after her husband Derick Dillard revealed they are banned from Jim Bob and Michelle’s home.

The Duggar Family Instagram account posted a series of photos from John Duggar’s wife Abbie’s baby shower with no Jill, 28, in sight.

In one photo, sisters Jana and Jessa helped Abbie open presents.

The other Duggar siblings and guests looked on in more snaps.

The latest snub comes after former Counting On star Derick revealed over Instagram in December that Patriarch Jim Bob negotiated show contracts on his children’s behalf.

Derick, 30, also claimed they are “not allowed” to be in the Duggar family home, where the shower took place, when Jim Bob “isn’t there.”

He continued: “Jill even had to ask JB permission to go over to the house to help her sister when she was in labor because her sister wanted her help, but Jill couldn’t provide the assistance until we got it cleared with JB.”

Fans were quick to notice that Jill, who is close with John and Abbie, seemed to be missing from the family gathering.

One fan commented on the Facebook post: “Where is Jill? Please tell me you let her come.”

A second follower wrote: “Did Jill get to go or did she not have permission from Jim Bob? I loved this family, but now after what Jill and Derick have said I have my doubts.”

Derick responded to a fan in December of why they filmed without compensation: “We were pressured to think that we were required to and that we would get sued if we didn’t.”

The law student then explained on Instagram how he and Jill were under the impression that the Duggar kids and spouses “didn’t make any money from the show.”

He wrote: “But rather, it was presented to us kids as something that was done as a ministry that TLC periodically subsidized in the form of reimbursements for things like gas, restaurants, travel, etc… but not any actual pay on top of that.”

Derick and Jill left Counting On in 2017.

This wasn’t the first family event Jill apparently missed amid the feud.

The parents and their children Israel, 3, and Samuel, 2, spent Christmas with friends over her family.

While Jill works as a midwife, Derick is currently in law school.

TLC did not respond to The Sun Online's request for comment.
