EastEnders legend Rita Simons looks dramatically different with red hair as she teases major makeover

EASTENDERS legend Rita Simons looked very different with red hair as she teased a major makeover.

The actress, best known for previously playing blonde bombshell Roxy Mitchell in the BBC soap, posed with a filter on Instagram that turned her locks a vibrant red hue.

Rita, 45, asked her fans for their opinions, writing over the clip: "Shall I do it?!?!"

She has already ditched Roxy's bleached tresses in recent years, opting for long golden highlights instead.

The I'm A Celeb star showcased her glam look in a recent snap with her daughter, who is also famous.

Rita and Maiya Silveston, who plays Kaz in Hulu drama Silverpoint, posed with cocktails in hand.
