EastEnders romance trouble as pregnancy scare rocks couple
EastEnders: Sonia cries at the hospital
EastEnders’ Sonia Jackson (played by Natalie Cassidy) fears she might be pregnant in upcoming episodes, and the shock could spell trouble for her and Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman)
Sonia and Reiss haven’t been together for very long, but have already faced a few hurdles in their relationship.
In upcoming scenes of the BBC soap, Sonia is upset when she is forced to spend her day off at the hospice with Reiss’ wife Debbie Colwell (Jenny Meier) after he is called into a client crisis.
Later, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) encourages Sonia to open up to Reiss about Debbie.
Sonia is late on her period and worries she might be pregnant. She confides in Whitney about the situation.

Reiss tries to set up a lunch date to apologise for his previous insensitivity around Sonia’s feelings towards Debbie, but he accidentally puts his foot in it when he drunkenly shares his negative views towards the prospect of children, unaware of Sonia’s predicament.
Will she end up sharing her fears with Reiss? Or will his words cause a row between the two?
It’s possible Sonia might take offence to Reiss’ comments. This coupled with her concerns about Debbie might cause Sonia to break up with her partner.

Sonia broke up with Reiss not long ago when she discovered he had kept his wife a secret.
It turned out Debbie was living in a hospice after a life-changing stroke, and Sonia forgave Reiss for his deception.
The two have had other rows though throughout their short relationship – but can they face another major curveball?
It may end up being the case that Sonia decides not to tell Reiss about the pregnancy scare.
Perhaps she will find out for sure if she’s actually pregnant before letting anyone else know.
If she does get the pregnancy confirmed, will she open up to Reiss despite his doubts about children?
Can the couple survive another obstacle or will they end up calling it a day?
EastEnders continues on Monday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
