Emmerdale arrest blunder has fans all saying the same thing | The Sun
ROCKING up the Dales after hearing her brother Ethan out, Naomi Anderson landed herself into plenty of trouble.
Naomi was arrested when Charles Anderson was found unconscious but Emmerdale fans are wondering about her grounds for arrest.
The village vicar (portrayed by Kevin Mathurin) has been trying to rekindle his relationship with his long-lost daughter, played by Karene Peter, but she hasn't seem too keen to make steps towards him.
However, her brother Ethan Anderson (Emile John) got involved during last night's instalment of the Yorkshire-based soap and Naomi appeared to come round.
She agreed to talk to Charles but, sadly, an argument quickly ensued.
Charles was later found lying unconscious in his church and PC Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) was a witness to his partner Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) finding him.

The GP hastily blamed Naomi upon seeing her rush out of the building and Harriet arrested her right on the spot.
But fans of the long-running drama were quick to point out Harriet didn't actually have any reason to arrest Naomi, especially while off duty.
"Stupid. Can't arrest Naomi just on someone's say so. Absolutely ridiculous. Much as I want her disappeared", one viewer commented on Twitter.
"How the hell can you arrest her?", another wrote while a third soap fan added: "Can she actually arrest off duty?"

Naomi tried to make a run for it before being brought to the police by Harriet and fans also wondered how she was caught so quickly since she seemed able to outrun the policewoman.
"Well Naomi that was a really fantastic attempt to run away", another viewer penned alongside laughing emojis.
Another echoed: "Naomi didn't even try to run."

In later scenes, Manpreet and Ethan paid Charles a visit in the hospital but he was still in a bad way.
Manpreet compared Naomi to her younger sister Meena Jutla, who was sent to prison earlier in 2022 for multiple murders.
One fan found the comparison odd and put the GP on blast by writing: "So Dr Manpreet hasn’t got good listening skills , you could hear the arguing, then Naomi leaves then you heard the bang, so clearly his daughter hasn’t done anything."
"Manpreet still isn’t over Meena."
