His Dark Materials fans left 'crying their eyes out' after 'devastating' twist in latest episode | The Sun

HIS Dark Materials fans were left 'crying their eyes out' as the latest episode aired.

The BBC trilogy drama aired on Sunday night as Lyra and Will travelled the Suburbs of the Dead.

The pair reached a seemingly infinite bureaucratic space during the episode.

Mrs Coulter arrived at the Magisterium and tried to convince MacPhail of her allegiance in order to save Lyra.

However, the episode came to a sad conclusion as it appeared Lyra had died.

She could be heard screaming in pain as she grabbed her heart.
