Former Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has revealed that she thinks this year’s Love Island stars are too “self aware” to give into their urges and have sex on TV.

Speaking exclusively to OK! about the current series of the ITV2 reality show, Holly reflected on her own bedroom antics in the famous Geordie Shore house and how today’s reality stars are much more knowledgeable about what they’re letting themselves in for.

The 29-year-old, who is back on screen tonight with a new series of MTV's Geordie OGs, said: “I don’t think any of them will have sex on TV as they all want the brand deals.”

Holly continued: “And they all know that, unfortunately, having sex on TV does limit your opportunities when you come out.”

The reality star went on to say that although she doesn’t think any of the couples will be getting intimate between the sheets, she would like the show to up the ante to keep viewers at home entertained.

Holly added: “I want some entertainment and want to see some sha**ing, but I just think everyone’s so self-aware, whereas we [the Geordie Shore cast] genuinely thought we were just taking six weeks off of work.”

Holly also defended her decision to have sex on TV in the past, explaining that the cameras were there to capture every single element of their lives, including their relationships.

Holy explained: “Everyone has a judgement of people who have sex on TV, but I fancied those people, liked them and lived in a house with them for six weeks.”

She added: “Some of them were actually my boyfriends, so what was I going to do? If I didn’t sleep with them, it wouldn’t be reality!”

Holly also maintains that her past has never been something that has affected her relationship with footballer fiance Jacob Blyth – nor will it ever.

Holly said: “I said to Jacob, ‘You will never make me feel bad about my past and if I catch you being horrible about it in any way, shape or form, you will be gone.’”

She continued: “I still say it to this day – if he ever decides that it’s a problem, he will be out of the door.

“I don’t care how much time we’ve been together, or how much love there is, he will never treat me like that."
