Mare of Easttown airs every Sunday evening at 9pm on HBO in the US.

Each episode is also available to stream via HBO’s new streaming service HBO Max.

HBO Max also has an app, which is available to download on any smartphone and tablet device.

Amazon Priem customers can also watch HBO content via the Prime HBO Channel on the platform.

Mare of Easttown will air just one day after the US release in the UK.

Who stars in Mare of Easttown?

Academy Award, Emmy Award and Golden Globe-winning actress Kate Winslet stars in Mare of Easttown as detective Mare Sheehan.

The Outsider’s Julianne Nicholson plays Lori Ross, Mare’s best friend in Mare of Easttown.

Also starring in the series is three-time Emmy award winner, Jean Smart as Mare’s mother Helen and Black Mirror’s Angourie Rice takes on the role of Mare’s daughter, Siobhan Sheehan.

American Horror Story’s Evan Peters plays Mare’s partner, Detective Colin Zabel.

Mildred’s Pierce star Guy Pearce will take on the role of Richard Ryan, a local creative writing professor and Devs star Cailee Spaeny plays Erin McMenamin.

Outcast’s David Denman plays Frank Sheehan, Mare’s ex-husband, alongside Let Them All Talk’s John Douglas Thompson as Chief Carter, Mare’s Boss.

Also in the cast of Mare of Eastown is Patrick Murney as Kenny McMenamin, James McArdle as Deacon Mark Burton and Sosie Bacon as Carrie Layden.

The Wire’s Neal Huff will play Mare’s cousin, Father Dan Hastings, alongside Joe Tippett as John Ross.

The seven-part limited series follows the story of Pennsylvanian Detective Mare Sheehan who is investigating the murder of a young girl.

However, as the case unfolds, things in Mare’s personal life begin to break down and the lines between the professional and private become blurred.

The official synopsis describes Mare of Easttown as “an exploration into the dark side of a close community and an authentic examination of how family and past tragedies can define our present”.
