I’m A Celeb fans think Richard Madeley is sending secret sign to Judy on ITV show

I’m A Celebrity fans think Richard Madeley might be sending a sign to wife Judy on the show that he misses her – by mentioning her non-stop.

It hasn’t escaped viewers of the show that the Good Morning Britain star has been mentioning wife Judy a lot, with some even joking that they should start a drinking game where viewers take a sip every time her name comes up.

Richard, 65, has previously suggested that the show will be the longest he’s been away from his wife of 35 years and he seems to be keen to let his wife Judy, 73, know he’s still thinking of her.

One viewer joked on Twitter that it must have been something the couple had agreed beforehand, writing: “Did Judy make him promise he would mention her 10 times a day???"

Another added sarcastically: "Has Richard got a wife called Judy? He hasn’t mentioned it."

Another viewer suggested they even turn Richard’s mentions of Judy into a game, writing: “This needs to be a new drinking game. Take a shot every time Richard says Richard and Judy."

Someone else agreed, writing: "New drinking game: we drink everyday Richard says Richard and Judy #ImACeleb."

Monday night’s show saw Richard and Arlene Phillips compete against the red team in a challenge to win cake for their camp. And despite not being in a team with Judy, Richard couldn’t help but compare his teamwork with Arlene to his teamwork with his wife.

Before heading off on the challenge, Richard explained: "Okay, well I'm used to partnerships, you know, Richard and Judy. Today, for one day only, it's Richard and Arlene."

Richard and Judy found fame as hosts of This Morning between 1998 and 2001 and later hosted their own daily chat show, titled Richard and Judy, between 2001 and 2009.

They’ve since taken part in projects together, but Richard is best known currently for appearing on Good Morning Britain.

Speaking exclusively to OK! about what he thinks his GMB co-host Susanna Reid will make of him in the castle, Richard said: "I think she'll fall about laughing and will think it's the funniest thing.

"I really like Susanna and she's a straight talker. If I screw up or make an idiot of myself, she will tell me when I come back!

"Not in a nasty way though. I am sure she will enjoy watching me eat rabbit penis!"
