I’m A Celeb’s Nigel, Josie and Nella stranded 2,000 miles away from campmates
Nigel Farage has been dumped in the Aussie outback 2,000 miles from his campmates as his jungle horror begins.
Filming for this year’s I’m A Celebrity is already underway and the marmite politician was the first contestant to face this year’s tough conditions. The failed MP and Brexit champion is expecting to be put through the wringer by telly haters who he fears will vote for him to do all the horrible challenges on the show.
And his telly horror began when show bosses dropped him and co-stars TV host Josie Gibson and influencer Nella Rose into the sizzling Australian heat surrounded only by red desert. Once there, the three isolated celebrities were tasked with taking part in gruelling challenges which won them vital "time" which could be used by other campmates thousands of miles away to complete tasks closer to the traditional jungle campsite.

An ITV spokesman said: "The trio will face various challenges in the outback to help their campmates in their bid to win stars and ultimately food.": Different celebs were expected to take part in other challenges ahead of this weekend’s airing date, including a revamped version of Walk The Plank, 100 metres up on top of the Focus Building in Surfers Paradise.
At the weekend, the contestants will all unite together when they go into the camp in Murwillumbah, New South Wales. Executive producer Laura Woolf added: "The launch show is bigger and there are things we have never done before. One of the trials we have got this year is the highest rig we have ever done in Australia.
"And there won’t be a split camp this time, they will all come to the main camp by the end of the first show and it is nice they will all be together."
Former King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp is predicting Farage will win this year’s series. The footie boss stormed to victory on the ITV1 show in 2018 so knows what it takes and he reckons former Brexit Party boss Nigel, 59, can win over the public and be crowned King of the Jungle. He said: “I think Nigel will do very well.

"He’s a big personality, I think the people will like him. I can see him doing very well in there. I’ve got a feeling he could be crowned King of the Jungle." Harry reckons Nigel might not care about winning if he realises it won’t mean an extra payday on top of his £1million fee.
He joked: "I don’t think anyone’s told him yet but there’s no ‘win bonus’ if you win, so maybe he won’t try quite so hard. But I think he will do very well!" Nigel has emerged as one of the bookies’ favourites to win the new series.
I’m A Celebrity launches this Sunday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
